Applying to host your work in our Art Gallery

Would you like to see your art work hosting in a contemporary, bright retail space? We know how hard it can be to find the right platform, so get in touch.

We are constantly on the look out for quirky, innovative artists who want to have their art work displayed in a contemporary and airy space in the heart of Worcestershire. We are seeking all forms of media including original art, print-work, glass, bronze, bronze resin, sculptural, ceramics, textiles and anything else in-between.

How do I apply?

If you’d like to apply to have your art displayed with us, please send us an email at enquiries@persora.com. We need a few details such as:

Your name
Your form of media
Your website (if you have one)
Your contact details so that we can get in touch with you
Images of your artwork
The price point of your work
What media of work are we looking for?

We’re open to any forms of media. Ideally, we like to take on a collection of the artist's work and the pieces must be complimentary to each other. If you don’t have a collection ready, we are happy to wait. We normally take around 6 to 10 pieces of work depending upon size and value. We are also open to complimentary pieces. For example, one of our previous artists Shelly Perkins who designed illustrative prints of nature, also had a few of her prints made up into textile work (cushions, etc) - we love that.

How will I know if you like my work?

We like to be open and honest with both our customers and our artists. We have two very distinct markets in terms of our customers base. Those who like craft-led work and those who like something more contemporary - we find that traditional art specifically in terms of figurative and town-scene art work of very specific locations, do not necessarily sell as well as others. If for any reason we are unable to host your work, it’s not a no forever, it might simply be that we don’t have the market base for it at this current moment in time.

What is your commission?

For all forms of art under the £500 threshold, we work on a 30% commission which is significantly lower than most other galleries. Upwards of the the £500 threshold is negotiable, but most of our artists are happy with our 50% commission (they’d rather have the opportunity to sell their work and have it in a contemporary space, than have it sat in their workshops).

Are you looking to buy my work outright?

Not necessarily. Since we opened in 2014, we’ve got some established artists we work with whose work we do purchase outright. This is due to proven sales through our store and the artists give us preferential options on their brand new work. If you are a new artist, the likelihood is we won’t look at purchasing anything outright to begin with - but, if the work proves popular, you can expect repeat orders from us.
