OUR FAMILY BUSINESS

On October 14th 2014, we opened the doors to our then newly renovated Grade II Listed building on the high street of the Georgian town of Pershore in Worcestershire.

After almost 12 months of extensive renovation to our newly purchased store at 29 High Street, a millions tears, thousands of hugs of reassurance and many long days curating the store to perfection. Whatever our direction, our business always has family at the very heart of it.

A contemporary addition to Pershore High Street, we operate a busy online presence via our website www.persora.com where many of our items including furniture, lighting and home decorative accessories are sent to cities across the UK and world including New York, London, Paris and Stockholm.

Our award winning business is housed in a double fronted, three storey listed building that has won awards for its architectural design.

OUR MAMA

The start of 2023 has been a difficult one. In 2022, the head of our family - our heart and soul, our dear mum - was diagnosed with terminal Melanoma.

After a long and courageous battle (we'd have expected none the less from her!) mum lost her battle and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on 30th May. That day, we didn't just lose our mum. We lost a wife and a nana. We lost a woman who loved our business, loved her children and her grandchildren, and loved her husband for more than 45 years. She has left a space in our own and our customers hearts we'll never be able to replace.

We'd like to thank the loving support of St Richard's Hospice and Melanoma UK for their unwavering dedication to providing care to both our mother Cheryl and our father Tony.

As such, a percentage of our annual profits will be donated directly to both of the aforementioned charities. So every time you buy from us, you're also going to be supporting the hard work of charities relied on everyday by cancer patients and their families.
