Persora secures first developer contract

We are extremely pleased to announce that Persora has secured its’ first contract to provide interior solutions, furnishings and art for a recently launched multi-million pound luxury residential redevelopment of a site in Stone, Kidderminster.

Persora - which opened in October 2014 - has seen significant business growth since it first opened its doors to the public following six months of restoration work to a large Grade II Listed property situated on the heart of Pershore, Worcestershire.

Speaking of the negotiated contract, Sasha Hyde managing director added: “Given our knowledge of the construction and development industry - including our key contacts at some of the UK’s largest housing developers - our showhome market strategy was always a key focus of growth for our business, we can tie in our knowledge of the built environment combining it with our buying power to achieve the very best results for our clients in terms of value management whilst providing a unique interior design solution.”

Manor Court - as it is to be known - is in the old grounds of the Stone Manor Hotel. Local developers Trinity Southgate have delivered eight exquisite cottages which are set in mature landscaping in North Worcestershire with the homes providing a contemporary twist with many of the original features being retained, in a secure gated environment.

The Original Stone Manor sat majestically amid the estate grounds for many years, dating back to the Doomsday Book. Sadly this magnificent building was destroyed by fire. In 1926, James Culcheth Hill rebuilt the Tudor styled Stone Manor as his private dwelling with many of the timber structures being reclaimed from the last “Fighting Man of War” to go in to battle under sail. H.M.S Arethusa was built in 1849 at a cost of £97,000, a sum that would probably equate to around £5,000,000 today.
